3 Types of Camera Shots - Mini Movie

3 Types Of Camera Shots - Mini Movie

Here we have is a mini movie of my group and I doing a scene saying "What you doing here?". When doing these scenes, we used 3 types of camera shots, the shots we used were, Close up, Over shoulder shot and a medium shot. When using this shots, we learnt what the shots did and how to use the camera more. We also edited our scenes into one and use different effects and had a mess around on abode premiere elements 10 to see what it did. This made it effective because if it wasn't edited, people wouldn't be interested and it being edited makes it more fun and entertaining to watch.

Preliminary Task 2

Preliminary Task 2

In this clip, me and my group did our preliminary task. What we did was our task was to have someone open the door, sit down and have a small conversation with someone else. By doing this, we used 3 different rules of media, an example of one of those rules is the 180 degree rule.

For the editing side of this task we used Adobe as this program is really good for editing and adding different kinds of effects. When editing this task, we made sure each of the camera shots look good by editing them all together This had then made our task look really good, even when we had to zoom in on Sean face when Ellis was speaking because if that wasn't put in, it would make Ellis look like she is speaking to herself.

Match Cutting Definition and Example

Match Cutting Definition and Example

Match cutting are any cuts that emphasizes spatio-temporal continuity and it is the basis for continuity editing. It is a cut within a scene that makes sense spatially. This can be between two different objects, two different spaces or two different compositions in which an object in two shots graphically match.

This is a clip showing you what match cutting is and this clip is a very good example because of how the scene cuts each time to another scene. For example the snow coming down fast, once it hits the camera, the scene moves onto people in the club and it is very clever how that can happen.
