My Influence and Interests

My Favourite Film:
My favourite film has to be Pitch Perfect 2. The only reason why I like this film is because it is aimed for around my age which is 16, so this film is mainly aimed for teenagers. This film is enjoyable to watch because I like music but because the film is based on groups of young people singing and having a good time in university but also to try an win the finals against a German singing group.

 
My Favourite Director:
I don't really have a favourite film director and I'm not sure why. If I were to pick one, I would choose Francis Lawrence, this is because he is best known for directing three of the four films in The Hunger Games film series and The Hunger Games is actually one of my favourite films along with Pitch Perfect 2. Francis Lawrence is so unique when it comes to directing films, when he had filmed Catching Fire (2nd film of Hunger Games) he made the scenes from the book come to life which I loved and the camera shots he had used were so different which I also like because he just made the film great! Francis has also filmed other films, such as I Am Legend which stars Will Smith the main character of the film.

My Favourite Genre:
My favourite film genre is Rom-Coms (Romantic Comedy) and Action Adventure. I like these genre's because the Rom-Coms films are so good as they have some parts in the film being romantic but also being funny as well which is good because it makes the audience more engaged with the film. As for action adventure, the reason why I like this genre is because it makes me want to watch more of the films, so for example, The Dark Knight Rises (Batman) was such a good film and made me like action adventure films more, as the scenes were very tense but also really dark which was quite interesting

A film that I most want to watch in cinema's:
One film I would like to go an see in the cinemas is Bridget Jones' Baby, this is because  the previous film such as Bridget Jones Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason was really good and when I found out they had made a 3rd movie I was so happy because this film is different to any of the other films as Bridget is getting on with her new life, she meets a new man, but then her ex comes into her life and she ends up being pregnant not knowing who the father is. This makes me want to watch this because I am interested what is going to happen but also because it looks really funny and enjoyable to watch.

The last film I had watched:
The last filmed I had watched was Paranormal Activity 4, this film is a horror and was released October 2012. What I thought of this film is that I kind of enjoyed it as some parts were not that scary, but then other parts were also jumpy. Normally I don't like horrors but this film wasn't that bad. This films is about a demon who is possessed and haunting the family's house and ends up possessing other person in the house and this then leads onto something. Obviously demons aren't real but some people may believe they are and the director and produce who made this film made it really clever because we are seeing what the demon is doing and how he is effecting the family's life. For this film I would rate this 4 stars only because it was quite scary.
